- Download Google Authenticator (or Authy) on your phone
- Go to exchange security settings → find "2FA" or "Google Authenticator"
- Scan the QR code with your app
- Enter the 6-digit code to confirm
- ⚠️ SAVE THE BACKUP CODE! Write it down somewhere safe. If you lose your phone, that's the only way to get back in.
Pro tip: SMS 2FA is better than nothing, but authenticator is much safer. SIM swap attacks are real.
